I think I dream about,
Someone that doesn’t get tired of me easily and lets me snuggle them on the couch even if I’m being loud and all shocked while watching True Blood. So far Capt. Malcom Reynolds maybe the only one who fits the bill. And for the next 15 years that’s ok I think. I have to go save the world and stuff. Besides no one I personally know is smart enough and nice enough anyway. I think I...

FUCK THAT STUPID MOVIE...or something.
Watching Jersey Girl with Dylan Mcdermott and I am not enjoying this portrayal of sweet but unfashionable elementary school teachers with strong accents that inhibit them from finishing their words “Somethin’ awfu’, from happenin’” Some of us, blend very well thank you, you wouldn’t even know if I never mentioned the PATH train :).

WHAT EVER SHE'S MAKING I want it.
My mother just pulled some insane recipe from my Aunt Linda’s webpage and said “Family! this is what I’m making for dinner!” And she dashed out to the store. That was a while ago and now it smells amazing and I can smell something sizzling and I’m shocked… there was no menus or delivery boys involved in this meal. Yay mommy.

Mission accomplished: Vatican blesses Blues... →
chartier: Todd Venezia: In a stunning move by the Vatican, the classic Dan Aykroyd-John Belushi comedy film “The Blues Brothers” was declared a “Catholic classic” alongside more pious films such as “The Ten Commandments” and “The Passion of the Christ.”

Iowa GOP Rep. King: Barton was right to say BP... →
notthatkindagay: One Republican lawmaker said Monday he agreed with Rep. Joe Barton’s (R-Texas) apology to BP. Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) said he thought Barton was right to call the Obama administration’s effort to force BP to create a $20 billion escrow account to pay out claims to victims of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill a “shakedown.” “I think Joe Barton was spot-on when he called it a...

The 10 worst BP gaffes in Gulf oil spill. →
american-apologies: Via Yahoo: 1. Who’s in charge? On Friday, BP board Chairman Carl-Henric Svanberg presented the news that many Americans had long been waiting for. Hayward was being shunted out of his lead role in the Gulf oil spill crisis, to be replaced by BP Managing Director Bob Dudley . On Saturday, BP media relations personnel said the chairman of the board was wrong. They said...

So I didn't go to the funeral
It was my great aunt Doris who passed away, but everyone called her Grandma Doris and I only saw her at special occasions or insane Passovers when we attempted to fit more than the regular 12 of us at one dinner table. But My mother really seemed not to care if I went or not which looking at it now is odd, but it did get me out of going and since I’m lacking clean black clothing I guess...

Hi everyone, This post, admittedly, has nothing to do with Glee. I’m breaking my own rule on that issue for the first time, because I want to take a moment to talk about something important to me. Of course you don’t have to take the time to read this if you don’t want to, but I would be really…

I had a horrible thought
In the shower, as I combed my ever growing black-brown snaky mass of hair I had a sinking thought. Reflecting on expressions and smiles I’ve seen in my life,  I’m afraid it’s all false. I have this sinking feeling that a lot of people I love and look up to think of me as more than a bit of a joke. Someone a bit weak and pretty much as useless as a knob on a broken stereo. Lots...

Kay Nielsen!
His work is awesome, I love the detail and insane lush-ness. His work is striking and sometimes sad. I found out about him because of the shit-your pants edition of the Little Mermaid, it seems that Disney had Kay Nielsen do some concept art for a short feature that never go made in the 30s. I am now in love and will post more of his stuff later.
